Something you may not have heard… the housing market may still be dropping. While surfing some of the oh-so-intelligent websites I read everyday, I stumbled upon an interview with Gary Shilling (who owns A. Gary Shilling & Co. research firm) and it’s quite interesting.

His thoughts on housing are this; there are too many properties, three years worth according to him, for the market to stabilize. According to Gary we’re looking at another few years of excess inventory and a further drop in home prices. The reason I might actually agree with him?… being a HUD home listing broker I’m on the front lines of selling foreclosures and the amount of homes we get hasn’t slowed in the least.
