This is NOT Your Moms Old Station Wagon!

Posted by admin | Real Estate and Property Investing | Monday 24 May 2010

Oh come on, seriously? This is NOT fair, you see, when I was a kid, having a wagon with assurance auto meant really cheesy, plastic wood grain body cladding, skinny tires, and an overburdened wallowing suspension that even my mother would frown upon. To be fair ours did feature a V8, but being of late 70’s vintage, that just meant around 500 pounds and 180 horsepower. Anyway, enough crying, this Mercedes E63 Wagon is seriously cool and any kid lucky enough to ride shotgun, or even behind mom, is gonna have a broad smile on their face.

It’s hard to wrap your mind around the spec’s, and on paper they just don’t seem right. Up to 550 horsepower, and mid 4 second 0-60mph blasts from a twin turbo charged V8, all while carrying you and four of your offspring? All I can figure is that the Germans have got their Smurfs working overtime in an ultra secret underground bunker, and yet there is competition.

According to the article, here, stateside we have our own land missile courtesy of Cadillac. The new Caddy wagon upstages the Mercedes by 6 horsepower for a total of 556hp. There is no side by side comparison, but either way you can’t help but worry about the effect of the earths rotation when some lunatic drops the hammer on one of these beasts.

Wine investment and stock market

Posted by admin | Real Estate and Property Investing | Saturday 22 May 2010

Today’s wine stock market is very complicated. If you look back ten or twenty years you will see that people who wanted to buy wine only had to choose the wine producer and nothing more. If you liked a particular brand then you bought wine from it. Today, on the other hand, wine buying is a real pain in the back. People will get interested in all sorts of things like the amount of rain that fell before the harvest of the grapes, how much sunlight the grapes bathed in and the sugar level of the wine. These are just some of the factors that are omnipresent today when you want tot buy wine on a large scale. There are even more things that you will have to ask and you will be asked when it comes to the wine stock market. Here are a few more details on this subject.

If you want to buy some wine for wine investment today, you will have to look at all sorts of factors like the ones mentioned above. Besides these factors you will also have to know every vineyard and what are its statistics. For Murfatlar, for example, you will have to know the geographic location of the vineyard and by knowing this you will have to take some conclusions like how is the weather there, is the soil fertile enough, do the grapes have enough sun. These are just some of the things that you must know about a vineyard if you want to be successful in the wine stock market. You will also have to know the age of the wine. Today, some of the most priced wines are the ones from the year 2001. These are the youngest and best quality wines that you can get your hands on. You can also buy more vintage wines like the great tasting wines of 1996 and 1997. You can buy even older wines that date back to the ‘80’s or even the ‘20’s. These wines are very expensive but taste great and if you manage to get your hands on them you just might get very famous or very rich if you will find the perfect buyer.

These are just some of the facts and tips about the wine stock market. If you will want to know more about this subject, you should talk to a person that has been in the wine stock market for a long time. This way you will learn all the secrets about the wine stock market.
